Begin a Session(12)Flashback reveals an aspect of another character, place, or faction

Sally Slaughter stares at her haul of treasure. It's truly impressive, even after all this time. Gold bars, coins, gems, priceless trinkets. Of course, it had been her undoing. The weight of the gold had slowed her ship down, and prevented it from getting away from the pirate hunters. The ship was now her home, and prison, here at the bottom of the ocean. She looks at her first mate. Crabs have long since picked all the flesh from his bones, and he looks back at her with a relentless, bony grin. "I dunno what you're smiling at," she says to herself. She's lost count of how many times she's made this joke over the years, it hardly seems to matter anymore. Surely, someone will come looking for her treasure someday. A haul that big, it stands to reason that people would be hunting for it. Any day now. Any day.

Story Complication(91)You are tracked or followed

Johnny heads to Brianna Aktuna's house. She seems much steadier on her feet than she did when they first met.

"Did you find the logbook?" she asks.

"Yes, but there's a problem - it was at the bottom of the ocean. I was hoping you'd be able to restore it."

Brianna takes the damaged book and examines it. "What was it doing at the bottom of the ocean?"

"The Tarantula might have sank a little bit."

"'Sank a little bit'?"

"Or a lot. It's all relative isnt it, really?"

"Dare I ask how?"

"We may have had something to do with it."

"Actually, I don't want to know. Yes, I can repair the book but it's going to take some time."

"In the meantime, we'll head to the coordinates and see if anything is there."

"That's your business. Don't come crying to me if your ship sinks a little bit."

Johnny heads to the dock and sees about getting the bottom of the ship repaired.
